Merry Maids: Proudly giving back to our local community
Caring for our community and our home
Being part of our local community is a big part of our business here at Merry Maids. Any way we are able to give back or make a difference is important to us. Take a look at some of the local organizations we’ve had the privilege of showing our support for over the years.

Milton Food Bank
Did you know that it costs a minimum of $300 a month to clothe, diaper and feed a baby? The pandemic has really highlighted the importance of looking out for your community and giving back when able and that’s why The Milton Infant Food Bank has been so dedicated to helping local families by providing a monthly supply of diapers, formula, baby food and cereal at no cost to the families. They can also offer referrals to EarlyON programs, supports, services and other community agencies. During the month of March, Merry Maids of Milton is donating $5 from every house cleaned to support this charity.

The Children’s Aid Foundation of Halton
Merry Maids of Milton was a part of something great. In an effort to support The Children’s Aid Foundation of Halton, Merry Maids had a booth on-site at the Milton Family Fun Run. The half-day event encouraged families to spend time together outdoors while raising awareness for a great cause.
Outclassing MS
Merry Maids of Milton attended Tea Time to end MS, hosted by the MS Society.
Merry Maids of Milton donated a 3-hour cleaning that was available to be won at the MS Society’s Downton Abbey inspired event. Tickets were sold online and the event was held at St Paul’s Church! We were very proud to be part of this event. Thank you to all who attended Tea Time in support of helping end multiple sclerosis.

We're Helping Raise The Roof
It’s no secret that we like to give back whenever we can, and we discovered a cause we simply couldn’t ignore. The Children’s Aid Foundation of Halton, in collaboration with Raising The Roof and the Bridging The Gap Program, sold toques in an effort to help the homeless. We are very proud to have been able to donate $450 to this great cause. You can read more at cafh.ca/raising-the-roof

Milton Chamber of Commerce Sports Celebrity Dinner & Auction
Everyone can agree that investing in the future is important. That’s why the Milton Chamber of Commerce Sports Celebrity Dinner & Auction is so popular. Proceeds from this fun night go towards funding local students in their post-secondary education. We were happy to donate 3 hours of cleaning to the night’s auction with good food, prizes and sporting autographs raising funds for a worthwhile cause!

The Darling Home For Kids
Based at the heart of our local community right here in Milton, The Darling Home For Kids provides children more than just beds. Offering high quality respite, residential and hospice palliative care services to children with medical complexities, they’ve provided families comfort and support for over 10 years. We have made donations to their silent auction with these funds helping the organization with research, resources, and children’s programs. Passionately helping children get the love, care and support they need, we are proud to actively support a cause so close to our hearts.

Halton Women’s Place
In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic meant giving back was more important than ever. Always actively giving back to those who need it most, Merry Maids of Milton was honoured to donate $1,000 to Halton Women’s Place. An organization providing shelter and crisis services for physically, emotionally, financially and sexually abused women and their dependent children, they are committed to ending violence against women. Our donation will help Halton Women’s Place make emergency shelter available, provide crisis counselling, implement preventative strategies, and more.
